About

The Lester Prairie Sportsmen’s Club was organized in the late 1960’s by a group of local outdoor enthusiasts.  Over the years it has grown from a small clubhouse and one trap, to a large clubhouse and five automatic PAT trap fields.

The club is open for trapshooting on Wednesday evenings (6:00 -9:00 pm) from mid-April until early-September.   We offer the following trapshooting options:

- League Shooting - bring a team of five and shoot an 18-week multi-class handicap league event.

- 16 Yard League - Individual 16-yard trap league.  Shoot 300 targets over the course of the summer.  Scoring is based on a Lewis-Class system, so anyone could win!

- Practice shooting - Sign up for a practice squad, from any yard line.

- Doubles - We usually throw a few squads of doubles each week.

The club is also available for rentals.  Great for graduation parties, wedding anniversaries, birthday parties, even wedding receptions.   Please contact us for more information about rentals.
